Indications: Amoxicillin is indicated for the treatment of infections due to susceptible strains of the sensitive organisms: Gram-negative: H. influenzae, E. coli, Pr. mirabilis, and N. gonorrhoeae. Gram-positive: Streptococcus species, D. pneumoniae, and non-penicillinase producing Staphylococci.
